Great news for Reflexologists. Why? Because 95% of our Reflexology students are women.
A study of married couples in the US has revealed that the proportion of wives earning more than their husbands has risen more than five-fold since 1970. (Pew Research Centre, Washington, DC)
This shift follows a reversal in patterns of education today. A majority of wives are as well, or better educated, than their husbands.
In 1970 just 4% of US wives earned more than their husbands. However, this percentage jumped all the way to 22% in 2007. The Pew study found that wives who earned more than their husbands were more likely to have decision-making power over major purchases and household finances.
Now here’s another of the many reasons for women to learn Reflexology now. According to the Universal College of Reflexology website poll, over 50% of Reflexologists claim to earn between $26 and $50 per sessions averaging between 40 minutes and 1 hour. However, the majority of graduates from the Universal College of Reflexology claim to earn over $50 per hourly session.
