Helping Reflexologists Gain More Abundance – Part 1 of 5

There are many reasons people in the health and wellness industry do not have the abundance they would like.  Each day I will cover one of these reasons in this 5 part series.

1. Do you hold a subconscious belief that being wealthy is not being spiritual?

This is perhaps the most common reason Reflexologists, Massage Therapists, Reiki practitioners and any number of Holistic practitioners find themselves struggling to earn a decent living whilst courageously helping others in their time of need.  It’s been explained in several ways by a lot of marketing experts.  So here is a new twist on this age-old problem.  Many people in our industry have – at some level – harbour a belief that being wealthy is not spiritual. You may think that you have dealt with your abundance issues but have you really? Or are you still attracting scarcity and lack of abundance?

A good way to determine this is by asking yourself:

“Do I give out far more energetically than I allow myself to receive financially, spiritually and emotionally?”

You may feel a strong need to serve others rather than creating a successful business that serves you with abundant income.

This will manifest itself in stopping you charging what you’re worth, which while it might seem like the ‘nice’ thing to do at the time will ultimately lead to resentment, sickness and even ill health.

6 Reasons to Choose Alternative Medicine – Part 6

6. Alternative medicine came about through one of the following ways:

- From the folk medicines in communities such as Traditional Medicine in China, Ayuravedics of Indian people, Thai Traditional Medicine of Siam people, American Indian medicines utilising crystals, smoke and feathers.

- From some psychic practices of religious or non-religious communities such as yoga, Qigong, Taichi, Reiki, praying therapy, urine therapy etc.

- From the lateral thinking of conventional doctors who turn their interest towards more natural methods of healing such as Dr Samual Hahnemann, Dr Sagen Ishizuka, Dr Henry S Tanner, Dr Dean Ornich and so on. Read the rest of this entry »

Huge New Market for Reflexology & Reiki

I just read an article about a dog’s life is a recession-proof tale.  It brings back my memories of over 25 years ago.  I was marketing a strata titled building in Vancouver’s popular west end.  I turned away so many people because of its pet restrictions.  So many that I considered developing an entire condominium complex just for people with pets.  I believed this project would be sold out as a pre-sale and my fortune would be golden.  Didn’t do it.  I fell into the same trap I teach my Reflexology business students – opportunities knock and if you don’t answer they’re gone.

That’s right this article is about family pets – an emerging new market for Reflexology and Reiki.  Most important for you to understand is that the pet is considered a loving family member.  Now, if you’ve got that, then consider these unbelievable market statistics. Read the rest of this entry »

Reflexology helps kids with cancer

The facts are that there is undeniable and growing evidence that Reflexology, Reiki, healing touch, acupuncture and a host of other therapies are definitely helping patients suffering from illness.  Apparently in the case of cancer, some oncologists are concerned about what to call these therapies.

Kids don’t care what it’s called, they love it by any name.

Take this case for instance outlined in a recent edition of Cure Today.

“Gabriella, 7, has endured surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation to treat her brain tumor, diagnosed in December 2008. “Acupuncture left a rash, and she didn’t really care for it,” says her mother, Frances. But foot massages—also known as reflexology—are a bright spot: “My daughter looks forward to it. She takes off her socks. She enjoys it.”

Here’s the “rub” (no pun intended) for the medi-business community.  Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s Dr. Oz Recommending Reiki

Dr. Oz Loves Reiki

I was just watching Dr. Oz on television tonight and he was praising many forms of complementary and alternative medicine and therapies from all over the world.  He stated he loved Aromatherapy.  He discussed acupuncture with a certified acupuncturist and brought on stage members of his audience to act as guinea pigs for a variety of these wonderful remedies.

Dr Oz stated energy medicine is the future of medicine.  In fact he stated that his favourite of all is Reiki.  He said Reiki brings energy into the cells themselves and assists in the natural movement of energy.  Dr. Oz said this really makes sense - as he pointed to his screen and showed a human cell.  The portion that surrounds the cell is called the outer membrane and this separates the cell from the rest of the body and maintains the inner integrity.  The inside of the cell is full of energy.   To be healthy we want healthy fully energized cells in all of our organs and we want all the cells in the rest of our body parts to be healthy.  Energy medicine is what helps accomplish this.

Thank you Dr. Oz
